How many items can be stored in the VGASS?
With the standard grates provided, there is room for at least 14 accessories of various sizes. There is also a hook rack with room to hang 5 grill tools.
What items come with the VGASS?
3 VGrate Double grates and 4 VGrate Single grates, as well
as a cover.
What the heck is a VGrate?
VGrates are heavy duty stainless steel grates that are the core of the VGASS storage system. These grates are used to separate your accessories and can be moved to accommodate wider accessories. The VGRATE Singles and Doubles are what makes VGASS wildly configurable to you needs.
How is VGASS constructed? Is it durable?
VGASS is made with 16g 304 stainless steel. Tangent polywood is used on the lid. The tangent material is not designed for temps over 200 degrees.
Can VGASS hold very heavy accessories?
YES! VGASS is designed to hold up to 150 pounds of accessories. So even if you have soap stones, cast iron grates, etc, VGASS can easily store them.
Can I put hot items on the prep table?
No! VGASS is meant to be used as a prep/convenience table during cooks. Hot items may damage the Polywood accent. Should you have an accident you can order a new insert. You can replace the insert with a Phillips head screwdriver. A second person is recommended for this work.
What are the dimensions?
Inside dimensions are 30”W x 24” D x 24” H
Outside dimensions for the prep surface is 33”W x 28.5” D x 37.5” H
Can I put hot accessories into the VGASS?
No. The material on the inside of the unit is not designed for items over 200 degrees. High temp items will damage the interior polymer walls.
Can I order extra accessories?
Absolutely. VGASS is extremely flexible. Depending on how many accessories you have and how you would like to store them, you may want to order more VGrates to fit your needs.
Does VGASS come assembled?
For the most part, yes. All you will need to do is install the three handles. Two Phillips head screws each and you're done!
Is the weather-proof cover available?
Yes! A cover is included with the VGASS.
