How many items can be stored in the VGASS?
With the standard grates provided, there is room for at least 14 accessories of various sizes. There is also a hook rack with room to hang 5 grill tools.
What items are included with the VGASS package?
3 VGrate Double grates and 4 VGrate Single grates, a hook rack, as well as a heavy duty logo cover.
How is VGASS constructed? Is it durable?
VGASS is made with 16g 304 stainless steel. Tangent woodgrain is used on the lid. The tangent material is not designed for temps over 200 degrees.
Can VGASS hold very heavy accessories?
YES! VGASS is designed to hold up to 150 pounds of accessories. So even if you have soap stones, cast iron grates, etc, VGASS can easily store them.
Can I put hot items on the prep table?
No! VGASS is meant to be used as a prep/convenience table during cooks. Hot items may damage the Polywood accent. Should you have an accident you can order a new insert. You can replace the insert with a Phillips head screwdriver. A second person is recommended for this work.
Can I put hot accessories into the VGASS?
No. The material on the inside of the unit is not designed for items over 200 degrees. High temp items will damage the interior polymer walls.
